OBJECTIVES
The project goal is to develop surface mountable, low-cost and compact Ka band microwave filters for on-board space applications. The filters are based on Multilayer Micromachining technology for reduced mass and footprint (<90% with respect to std waveguide technologies). 4th order filters based on a 6-layer structure have been manufactured and tested at die and board level to demonstate their compatibility for space enviroment
