RF Microtech will participate in the 1st edition of Space Microwave Week in ESA-ESTEC, NOORDWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS from 8TH – 12TH MAY 2023
About the event
The first edition of the conference is organised by the Radio Frequency Equipment and Technology Section of the European Space Agency (ESA) with the technical co-sponsorship of the European Microwave Association (EuMA).
This event replaces two historical ESA workshops: “Microwave Technology and Techniques Workshop” and “Workshop on mm-Wave Technology and Applications”, by a single larger and wider-reaching event for the benefit of our microwave space community.
The aim of Space Microwave Week is to offer a new flagship international forum where microwave, millimetre-wave and terahertz technology developers, equipment designers, systems developers, operators, experts, universities, users and space agencies can openly network, discuss their ideas, share their experiences and formulate the challenges to be met.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their technical expertise and views by formal presentations and informal discussions.

Don’t miss our paper!
We will participate actively in this event: Luca Pelliccia, our Head of Microwave Filters Division, will present a paper titled “ Compact Broadband Input Filters based on Ceramic Resonators made in Additive Manufacturing Technology”.
The designs and experimental results of new compact bandpass filters with high-performance and high-Q working at C- and Ku-bands are presented in this paper. Wideband responses are obtained by using dielectric resonators, thus overcoming one of the major limitations of the dielectric filters: their narrowband behaviour. They are based on custom-shaped dielectric resonators fabricated by additive manufacturing techniques (i.e. LCM: Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing).
