RF Microtech is pleased to invite you to attend the first annual European Microwave Week (EuMW) Filter Design Forum that will be held on the 25th September 2018, in Madrid, IFEMA, Room A9.8, from 12- 16 pm.
The forum is organized by AWR and focus on design and simulation techniques of RF and microwave filters, encouraging discussion and providing insight into the latest design approaches, as well as modern filter theory.
RF Microtech will present the innovative and high-performance ultra-wideband filter developed for the Milan EXPO2015 wireless network, which was installed in May 2015. The device is a low-loss bandpass filter up to 6 GHz and includes five high-Q and high-rejection notched bands at all telephone mobile communication frequencies below 2.5 GHz. It is used to allow the coexistence of telephone mobile communications and wireless network control antennas in the same area.
Due the high complexity of the overall filter structure, the design of the device was carried out using ANSYS HFSS full-wave simulations combined with NI AWR Design Environment circuit simulations, specifically Microwave Office software.
