MEMs adjuStable E-band filTers –
Eurostar Project for the development of innovative high Q waveguide filters for point-to-point mini-link radio communications.
OBJECTIVES
To design, manufacture and test innovative micro-machined filter at K and E band, where RF MEMS switches are used for fine tuning and compensation of manufacturing tolerances and interconnection mismatching. The tunable filters are based on waveguide WR12 cavities loaded with RF MEMS switches to module the filter response while preserving high Q factor. Such a filters are expected to become key elements of future microwave mobile backhaul and point to point radio markets.
