The European Microwave Week (EuMW 2024), which will be held in Paris from 22nd to 27th September, will pursue the annual series of highly successful microwave events that started back in 1998.
Join us at the 27th edition of the European Microwave Week in Paris!
Once again, this year we will give our contribution to the largest RF and microwave trade show and Conference in Europe.
Don’t miss our talk!
Paolo Vallerotonda, R&D Engineer (Ph.D.) – Project Manager at RF Microtech, will present a paper entitled:
Fully 3D-Printed Filter Based on Helical Resonators with Elliptical Line Cross-Section
The model has been carefully designed to achieve the best compromise between high compactness and low losses by taking advantage of the 3D-printing approach.
Key features include:
- High Compactness: < 50% volume with respect to standard technologies
- High Q: 500-1000
- High power handling: 10-100W
- 3D printed, enabling low cost and fast manufacturing
- Developed for next generation of small satellites, LEO orbit

Roberto Sorrentino Prize: Fourth edition
For the fourth year, we’ll contribute with Linda Di Carlo Sorrentino, EuMA and SIEm to sponsor the Roberto Sorrentino prize: an annual engineer prize for brilliant engineers. The Prize will be presented at the Opening Session of the European Microwave Week (EuMW).
We are very proud of it and we believe this is a meaningful way to remember our beloved Prof. and mentor Roberto Sorrentino, to whom the prize is named after. Besides having been our Company’s founder, he’s been one of the founders of the European Microwave Association (EuMA, owner of the European Microwave Week) and its first President.
