We are pleased to announce our participation in the “National Workshop on User Terminals for SatCom Constellations”, organized by the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) and taking place today, April 23, 2026, at ASI headquarters in Rome.
The workshop will focus on the current and future landscape of user terminals for satellite communication constellations in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and multi-orbit architectures. It aims to provide an overview of national industrial capabilities and upcoming European initiatives, particularly within the IRIS² program.
As part of the afternoon session, at 14:30, Hamza El Ghannudi, Head of Avionic & Ground Division at RF Microtech, will deliver a technical presentation titled:
“Ka-Band Phased Array Antennas for LEO Constellations User Terminals”
The presentation will explore advanced phased array antenna solutions in Ka-band, addressing:
- high-frequency RF performance
- system integration in user terminals
- technological challenges and design trade-offs for LEO applications
