We are pleased to participate in the Sixth Edition of the International IEEE Forum on Research and Technologies for Society and Industry (IEEE RTSI 2021, 6-9 September 2021).
The COMPETENCE INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING 4.0 (CIM4.0) has selected HALLTRACK, “HAngar reaL time Localization & TRACKing system”, as a case history in Industry 4.0 to be presented during the special event called “Italian Competence Centers I4.0 at the crossroad: progress and best practices”, a session dedicated to the Italian Competence Centers scheduled on Wednesday 8 September from 11:00 to 13:00.
Paola Farinelli, Business Developer, and Hamza El Ghannudi, Head of Microwave Sensors & Systems Division, with Paolo Brizzi, Digital Factory Program Manager at CIM4.0, they will talk about how RF Microtech, through the Halltrack project, has developed an innovative RTLS (Real-time locating system) technology able to track objects and people in very large areas, like airport and agricultural hangars, industrial warehouses and ship maintenance facilities, both indoor and outdoor.
Based on FMCW* technology, Halltrack precisely tracks the individual tool trolleys and other materials and locate them on a digital map (accessible via an app), for a safe and efficient operation. With respect to commercial RTLS systems, Halltrack shows very high detection range that drastically reduces the complexity and costs of the infrastructure, i.e. the number of anchors to be installed in the hangar.
The Halltrack system will be installed in a hangar in Fiumicino and
a demo version at CIM4.0 pilot line, in Turin, allowing visitors and companies to test it.
To discover the other advantages of Halltrack compared to RTLS technologies already available on the market, please attend the event or contact us!
About IEEE RTSI 2021
The 6th Online International Forum on Research and Technologies for Society and Industry (#RTSI) will be September 06 – 09 | 2021 full of panels, technical sessions, tutorials, special events and exhibitions organized in three main tracks of great interest and relevance: Smart Energy, Smart Industry and Smart Communities.
The RTSI forum is the main conference of the IEEE Italy Section and represents the annual meeting of researchers and industry professionals in the field of electrical, electronic and information science and engineering. The main goal of RTSI is to meet this challenge and promote excellence in technological innovation.
