After the first edition held in Perugia in 2021, RF Microtech will participate in the IEEE International Microwave Filter Workshop in Florida from 21-23 February 2024.
Dr. Luca Pelliccia, Head of Space Division at RF Microtech, will present our latest developments on innovative RF filters products for Space. He will present a paper titled Ku-band MUX Based On Ceramic-loaded Barrel-shaped For High-power Satellite Applications during the session devoted to cavity filters on Wednesday 21 at 2:00 PM.
In addition, Luca will chair the following sessions:
- W3 (Cavity Filters) | Session time Wednesday, 13:40 until 15:20 | Location Sea Oats
- H3 (3D Printed Filters) | Session time Thursday, 13:40 until 15:20 |Location Sea Oats
About RF device For High-power Satellite Applications
A novel on-board Ku/Ka band output de-multiplexers (ODEMUX) for high power applications will be presented. C
ompared to standard technologies, the ODEMUX presents a reduction of about 50% in both volume and mass and power handling capability up to 75W in space environment.
Tests are on-going and the qualified Engineering Model will be released by April 2024.
About International Microwave Filter Workshop (IMFW)
IMFW 2024 is the second international workshop dedicated to the microwave/terahertz filter community, including both academic and industrial segments. The conference is organized by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S).
This Workshop represents a unique opportunity to bring together scientists from industry, government and academia around the world specialized on filters, to share the most recent advances in filter theory, technology, and manufacturing.
RF Microtech is excited to contribute to this prestigious event and to share our insights into the future of RF filters.
Location
The venue of the IMFW2024 is the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach, FL.
