RF Microtech supports companies along all the development phases of their products, from the original conception to the design, engineering and fabrication. In line with the customer specifications, RF Microtech provides preliminary studies, identification of the most suitable solutions, design, manufacturing and validation. In order to make it possible, RF Microtech relies on a consolidated partnership network with companies and foundries operating in the area of manufacturing and testing.
Under specific agreements, RF Microtech may also operate as an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer).

We do modelling, simulation, characterization and design of RF components in various technologies (waveguide, integrated circuits, LTCC, and so on) such as antennas, beam forming networks, microwave components (filters, multiplexers, couplers, ….) reconfigurable devices (tuneable filters, phase shifters, reconfigurable antennas,…) as well as microwave sensors and systems. We employ full-wave electromagnetic (EM) and circuit models using the most advanced simulation tools, both proprietary and commercial (such as Ansys, HFSS, CST Microwave-Studio, AWR, ADS, Eagle, Spark3D).

RF Test & Characterization

RF Microtech offers its expertise in the measurement and characterization of RF components, circuits and antennas. The  laboratories, located in Perugia, are constantly improved and upgraded. One of them is equipped with RF instrumentation conformed for measurements of S-parameters up to 67GHz, phase noise, noise figure and spectrum analysis. A second laboratory is dedicated to planar antenna and circuit inspection, assembly and non conformity control (advanced optical 3D inspection tools, pick & place, semi-automatic press, etc…)
